THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ARCTIC VIXEN (M Yeni) and IT'S UP TO ME (C Zackey) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) SUGARY SWEET (G Lerena) and TAMADORA (D De Gouveia) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) IT'S UP TO ME (C Zackey) was slow losing three lengths. Trainer J A Visser was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (PHvdW). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) IT'S UP TO ME (C Zackey), after being slow away on debut, failed to muster speed and raced detached from the field throughout. b) SUPERSKITT (C Maujean) over-raced in the early stages. c) Jockey G Lerena, the rider of SUGARY SWEET, dropped his left-side rein at approximately the 200m, which he regathered at the 100m. d) The saddle on THAT'S MY BABY (S Khumalo) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by an Official. e) THAT'S MY BABY (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) IT'S UP TO ME ownership unchanged, colours: Blue, yellow maltese cross, yellow and red striped sleeves, yellow cuffs, yellow and red hooped cap. b) THAT'S MY BABY raced with a tongue tie on (declared 4 May 2023 at 08H46).
