THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BALLROOM BLISS (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) ALLTHEWAYFROMUSA (C Zackey) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of PASHASHA (M Yeni), (distance 15,50 lengths, betting 4/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer R R Magner was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of PASHASHA on return to stables. b) Jockey G Pieterse reported that DEVILISH DANCER took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) Apprentice P Mxoli reported that GILDA GRAY did not stride out freely in running.
