THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	This race was started manually due to an electrical issue with the starting stalls. 
b)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that FOREST SPY did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	In view of the performance of GIACOMO PUCCINI (L Nhlapo) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	AL QAASIM, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised. (SP)
