Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) JUST POWER (J Gates) was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow into stride. b) STATE OF MIND (*KA Brewer) rushed the front gates of the starting stalls. c) OPERA SWING (K Steyn) and CHE VINCERA (F Herholdt) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The bridle on OPERA SWING (K Steyn) had to be re-fitted at the start, causing a delay. b) Leaving the 300m BADRAH (AUS) (X Ndlovu) had to be steadied when unable to secure a run between IQEMBULABESIFAZANE (S Khumalo) and ECLAIR (L Mxothwa). Thereafter, BADRAH (AUS) (X Ndlovu) had to be directed inwards and into clear running. c) At the 150m ECLAIR (L Mxothwa) was brushed inwards by SAINT ANASTASIA (D Ashby), which was hanging in. As a consequence, ECLAIR (L Mxothwa) made contact with IQEMBULABESIFAZANE (S Khumalo), which was momentarily inconvenienced. d) STATE OF MIND, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis Trainer JVA Strydom was advised.
