THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	LIKETHECLAPPERS (D De Gouveia) refused to load and was withdrawn. 
b)	MBANJWA MAGIC (K de Melo) was stubborn to load. Trainer M Dixon will be advised to re-school this gelding. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to LIKETHECLAPPERS (D De Gouveia), this colt's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 25.01.22 to the 31.01.22. LIKETHECLAPPERS may not be presented for re-passing during this period.  Trainer D Howells will be advised. (MS)
b)	At the 600m, YATAHEY (M Ntuli) was carried out by NAPOLEON (C Zackey) which failed to negotiate the turn. Thereafter, YATAHEY (M Ntuli) was hanging in from the 400m.  
c)	COUNTRY ICE (J Gates) over-raced in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, Jockey J Gates reported that he felt something amiss with this colt at the pull-up. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.  
d)	Assistant Trainer O Mlhamvu acting on behalf of Trainer G H van Zyl signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that he failed to ensure that the owners' colours were available for the horse NTABAZONDI.  Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed.   
e)	CYBER TIME (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer L W Goosen advised (HM).
