THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COUNT YOUR CHANCES (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) ROSE GREENHOW (D De Gouveia) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey C Zackey reported that CHILLI MARMALADE did not stride out freely and coughed in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning CHILLI MARMALADE, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer S Moffatt was advised. c) TSITSIKAMMA PEARL (*S Sosibo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer E Verdonese advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
