b)	In view of the performance of GRINDELWALD (G Lerena), (distance 3,40 lengths, betting 5/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
c)	Jockey D De Gouveia was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he misused his crop by striking TIKI TAKA more than twelve times in the entire race.  Jockey D De Gouveia signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R 1,000.00 was imposed. 	
	When assessing this penalty, the Board took into consideration the number of times the crop was used (14) and Jockey D De Gouveia's recent record with regards to this Rule and Guideline (2).  
d)	PROCRASTINATOR (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
