THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	CAPTAIN DIZZY (C Maujean) and RAMCHANDANI ROAD (C Habib) were stubborn loading.
b)	SUPER AGRA (M Yeni) was stubborn loading and thereafter jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	PONTIAC (D De Gouveia) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
d)	TWICE THE STORM (K Matsunyane), PINCH HIT (G Lerena) and PONTIAC (D De Gouveia) were slow losing one length.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	As the start was effected, PINCH HIT (G Lerena) was bumped out by JUSRITE (*S Sosibo), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	Shortly after the start, INVINCIBLE WARRIOR (*M K Katjedi) and PONTIAC (D De Gouveia) came together and bumped when awkwardly placed between SUPER AGRA (M Yeni), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and SILENT WAR (C Zackey), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. 
c)	PINCH HIT (G Lerena) failed to muster speed in the early stages. Jockey G Lerena reported he felt something amiss and did not persevere with his riding from the 600m. Furthermore, Jockey G Lerena reported that this gelding made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 		  
d)	RAMCHANDANI ROAD (C Habib) and JUSRITE (*S Sosibo) hung out from the 600m.
e)	Jockey	K Matsunyane reported that TWICE THE STORM made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
f)	Jockey	C Zackey reported that SILENT WAR did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
g)	CAPTAIN DIZZY (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
