THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls KILEIGH'S FATE (*R A Venniker) was bumped out by CAPRIANA (S Moodley) which was carried out by GIMME THE FLAME (M V'Rensburg), which jumped out. As a result, KILEIGH'S FATE (*R A Venniker) bumped CANDY FOR MY MOMMY (M Yeni), became unbalanced and lost position. b) Leaving the 100m, Jockey S Veale (POPPY OF BAYEUX) briefly dropped his right-side rein. c) FLYING THE STAR (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C M Bestel advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey R Khathi was the rider of VISION OF WILL (advised 26.05.23/10h14). b) DRIVE BY raced equipped with a compression mask (advised 25.05.23/14h39).
