a)	GILDED BUTTERFLY (K de Melo) lost 1 length.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	TIME FLIES (L Mxothwa) and PEACH DAIQUIRI (G van Niekerk) raced wide around the turn and into the straight.
b)	HOLD MY HAND (G Lerena) was hanging out on the turn. Thereafter at the 250m, this filly was baulked for a clear run for a number of strides. In the concluding stages HOLD MY HAND (G Lerena) commenced to hang out once again.
c)	At approximately the 400m SAARTJIE (R Khathi) which shifted in, had to be steadied to avoid running onto the heels of ICE SUNSATION (*R A Venniker) which rolled out.
d)	At the 350m MARINA (A Domeyer) was switched in to avoid running onto the heels of VIRGINIA SWEET (C Zackey).
e)	In the concluding stages IPSO FACTO (R Danielson) had to be steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of HOLD MY HAND (G Lerena) which commenced to hang out.
f)	RAIN IN HOLLAND (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (NS).
