Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DREAM SCAPE (L Mxothwa) was nervous, reared while loading and had to be hooded, causing a delay. b) STATE OF MIND (J Gates) was nervous in the stalls. c) SILVERY BLUE (*RA Venniker) kicked the back gates in the starting stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. d) OPULENCE (S Khathi) and OPERA SWING (K Steyn) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Routine maintenance had to completed prior to horses leaving the parade ring, causing a delay to the horses proceeding to the start. b) At the 200m SILVERY BLUE (*RA Venniker) shifted outwards away from the crop and had to be straightened. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding DREAM SCAPE (L Mxothwa), Trainer WGC Miller will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. d) DEFINITELY MAYBE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
