THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DOCTOR'S ORDERS (D Daniels), FLYING DRAGON (B Jacobson), AMBER SKY (S Khumalo) and ALEEYAH'S UNICORN (S Hlengwa) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At approximately the 700m LEVITATOR (S Moodley) was carried out by CAPTAIN MARVEL (J Gates) which was hanging out around the turn and into the straight. b) FORESHORE (R Fourie) was hanging out from the 400m. c) R Khathi (LA CIELO) accidentally dropped his crop at the 400m. d) Approaching the 200m LADY CANTON (K de Melo) which was hanging in and LEVITATOR (S Moodley) which rolled out, came together and brushed. e) LADY CANTON (K de Melo) was hanging in in the concluding stages. f) Jockey S Khumalo reported that AMBER SKY raced with its tongue over the bit. g) In view of the performances of LA CIELO (21.90 lengths, 50/1 in the betting) and CAPTAIN MARVEL (19.30 lengths, 16/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. h) FORESHORE (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
