THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MISS LEMONADE (S Cele) and HAT'S MIRACLE (C Zackey) were stubborn loading. b) MISS LEMONADE (S Cele), SUN SPECTACULAR (JP van der Merwe) and BRIGHT DUCHESS (K de Melo) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Due to a technical issue with the starting stalls, a manual start was effected, causing a delay. b) At the 800m CAMARADERIE (G van Niekerk), which raced green, hesitated, threw its head up and lost momentum when HAT'S MIRACLE (C Zackey), which was racing to its inside, took an awkward stride. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding MISS LEMONADE (S Cele) and HAT'S MIRACLE (C Zackey), Trainers SJ Snaith and GS Kotzen respectively will be advised to have these fillies re-schooled prior to their next engagement. d) BEACH BOMB, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
