THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUMMER OF DREAMS (J Greyling) was stubborn loading. Trainer H E Adamson was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (GT). b) BOSSY BOOTS (M Thackeray) was restless and thereafter jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) DUENNA (K de Melo) jumped awkwardly and stumbled leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WILKIES (S Khumalo) hung out from the 300m. b) LAW OF SUCCESS (*P Mxoli) hung in from the 200m. c) Jockey J Greyling reported that SUMMER OF DREAMS changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) LAW OF SUCCESS (*P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (MS).
