THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MUSHARAYHA (K Matsunyane) was hanging in from the 400m. b) Jockey J Gates's (LADY TENACITY) crop became briefly entangled in his right side rein at the 100m. c) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that MUSHARAYHA made an abnormal respiratory noise in the pull-up. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) QUERANDI (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
