THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	GODFATHER (J R Syster) and STORM JEWEL (D Schwarz) brushed leaving the stalls.
b)	Shortly after the start, CALL THE WIND (G Lerena) was squeezed out when awkwardly placed between GREGOR MACGREGOR (J P van der Merwe) and SPEECHMAKER (B Nyawo), which rolled in. 
c)	UNITED EXPRESS (*K A Brewer) commenced to over-race at the 1100m.
d)	CALL THE WIND (G Lerena) hung out on the latter part of the turn.
