THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	LA CIELO (J Gates) was restless in the stalls, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded.
b)	FREE WILL (C F Dicken), ATTAGIRL RHONDA (*S Hlengwa) and NTOMBENHLE (*R A Venniker) lost 1 length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	The saddle on WILLOW CREEK (C Zackey), which commenced to over-race in the early stages, slipped forward resulting in this filly racing clear of the field and Jockey C Zackey being unable to assist WILLOW CREEK thereafter.
b)	Approaching the 1400m, THEAPPLEOFMYEYE (A Mgudlwa) was steadied off the heels of LA CIELO (J Gates) which commenced to over race on the inside of BITCOIN BABY (T Godden) which had rolled in.
c)	Jockey P Strydom reported that TEPHRA changed stride continuously in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
d)	Jockey D Schwarz reported he felt something amiss with INHLE INTOMBI in the running and as a result did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e)	BITCOIN BABY (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller advised (DZ).
