THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	MAMBO COME TESIO (N Klink) jumped awkwardly outwards leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	As the start was effected, KIND JUDY (M Yeni) had its hindquarters turned outwards when bumped by MAMBO COME TESIO (N Klink), which jumped awkwardly outwards leaving the stalls.
b)	OVER TWO YOU (*M K Katjedi) hung out entering the first turn and as a result, raced wide and without cover throughout.
c)	Leaving the 400m, KIND JUDY (M Yeni) was carried in marginally by CAPTAIN CHORUS (*K A Brewer), which was directed inwards away from the heels of WHISPERS OF WAR (AUS) (S Khumalo), which rolled out and was corrected. 
d)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that WHISPERS OF WAR (AUS) made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
e)	Apprentice P Mxoli reported that AFRAAD made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
f)	MAMBO COME TESIO (N Klink), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

JOCKEY CHANGES:
a)	KIND JUDY was ridden by Jockey M Yeni (declared 18 June 2023 at 08H59), who weighed out at 51,1kg, 1kg over the carded weight of which 0,5kg was declared.	 
Jockey M Yeni was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse KIND JUDY, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with Trainers B Botes / Y Vosloo.
