THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SILLY FELLA (N Klink) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) ASHANTI SWORD (*K A Brewer) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) WAQAAS (AUS) (G Lerena) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, GREGOR MACGREGOR (S Khumalo) and SILLY FELLA (N Klink) came together and bumped. b) Shortly after the start, RATTLE BAG (*P Mxoli) was brushed by WAQAAS (AUS) (G Lerena), which was carried out by ASHANTI SWORD (*K A Brewer), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) GREGOR MACGREGOR (S Khumalo) shifted out away from the crop from the 350m. d) Leaving the 200m, FOLLOW MY PATH (*M K Katjedi) was unbalanced and had its hindquarters turned outward when bumped by ASHANTI SWORD (*K A Brewer), which shifted out away from the crop e) GREGOR MACGREGOR (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
