THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOLIGHTLY (S Khathi) was stubborn loading and nervous in the stalls; thereafter jumped slow, losing one length. b) PHOENIX (F Herholdt) jumped slow, losing two lengths. c) DEFINITELY MAYBE (K Minnie) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The tongue tie on DEFINITELY MAYBE (K Minnie) was re-fitted at the start, causing a delay. b) HEY SIRI (D Ashby) was hanging in in the latter stages. c) In the concluding stages Jockey R Fourie was unable to ride WILDEST DREAMS to the finish when close to the heels of DEFINITELY MAYBE (K Minnie), which rolled in. d) DEFINITELY MAYBE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
