b)	CANFORD ROSE (J P van der Merwe) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	THE WORK OF LIFE (J R Syster) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	MICKE'S BOMB (C Zackey) raced in isolation towards the inside of the track up until the 800m and thereafter this filly commenced to hang in badly from the 400m. 
b)	Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with DAME COLLEEN in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
c)	Jockey J P van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with CANFORD ROSE in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
d)	Trainer J A Visser was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate DAME COLLEEN (Race 5) and DA CAPO (Race 9) against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. 
Trainer J A Visser signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000.
