THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SECOND BREATH (C Maujean) was stubborn loading. b) LIL MISS MONEYBAGS (C Zackey) jumped awkwardly inwards leaving the stalls. c) SILVER CLOCK (K de Melo) was slow losing one length. d) ON CUE (J Penny) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 250m, SECOND BREATH (C Maujean) was steadied and directed inwards when improving into restricted galloping room between THERE SHE GOES (Wes Marwing) and GIMME THE FLAME (*K A Brewer). b) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that QUEEN OF GAUL did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Apprentice S Sosibo reported that PRAYUPONASTAR made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) LOLLAPALOOZA (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J A Visser advised (MS).
