THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	TEEREX (J P v'd Merwe) raced fiercely in the early and middle stages, proving difficult to assist and compounded in the straight.
b)	FIBONACCI (C Orffer) raced wide around the turn and into the straight.
c)	At approximately the 150m, GOLDEN TATJANA (P Strydom), which commenced to give ground, was steadied in anticipation of the narrow run closing between SANDRINGHAM SUMMIT (C Habib) and WINTER GAMES (T Godden). Thereafter, in the concluding stages, SANDRINGHAM SUMMIT (C Habib) was switched in off the heels of GIMMEANOTHERCHANCE (K de Melo) to obtain a clear run.
d)	At the 150m, WINTER GAMES (T Godden) and KUPHOLIWE (S Veale) came together and brushed on two occasions.
e)	WINTER GAMES (T Godden) was hanging out in the concluding stages.
