THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SHIVAS SPIRIT (B Nyawo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) WONDER I DO (C Zackey) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 200m, ARABIAN RED (*M K Katjedi) became unbalanced when bumped by SECRET RECIPE (D De Gouveia), which had to check severely to avoid the heels of WONDER I DO (C Zackey), which shifted in. Jockey C Zackey was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of WONDER I DO, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ARABIAN RED (*M K Katjedi) and SECRET RECIPE (D De Gouveia) when he shifted in approaching the 200m. Jockey C Zackey signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days. Suspension dates: 21 July 2023 to 27 July 2023 (both days inclusive). b) At approximately the 200m, SOLO DIVA (M Yeni) was carried out marginally by CALL TO GLORY (GB) (D Schwarz), which shifted out away from the crop. c) CANFORD ROSE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Dawson advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) WONDER I DO cut into right hind. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
