Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	HIGHLYCONFIDENTIAL (G van Niekerk) threw its head down as the start was effected and jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	LITTLE MISS PINK (O Noach) jumped inwards and bumped MULBERRY STREET (D Ashby).
c)	ELECTRIC FEELS (M Winnaar) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Due to a technical fault with the starting stalls a manual start was effected.
b)	After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, MULBERRY STREET cast its left front shoe on the way to the 	start which had to be replaced, causing a delay.
c)	Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with TOUCH OF GRACE and eased this filly out of the 	race at the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	Jockey JR Syster reported that CREME BRULEE felt uncomfortable in its action and he did not persevere with 	his riding in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that ACT NATURALLY did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	TOUCH OF GRACE (K de Melo) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary 	haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The 	National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. g)	WHERE'S THE PARTY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SW Humby was advised. (TJ)
