THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS ARLOWE (R Fourie), FLIGHT DISPLAY (R Khathi), DYMONDIA (K Matsunyane) and CUE THE REBEL (S Khumalo) were stubborn to load. b) TROPICAL BREEZE (S Veale) and MISS ARLBERG (*R A Venniker) lost 1 length. c) FLIGHT DISPLAY (R Khathi) lost 3 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) FLIGHT DISPLAY (R Khathi) raced green. b) At the 100m, MISS ARLBERG (*R A Venniker) which raced green and hung in from the 300m, rolled in and was inconvenienced when racing in close proximity to the heels of ARVERNI PRINCESS (C Maujean) which rolled out. Thereafter in the concluding stages MISS ARLBERG (*R A Venniker) was inconvenienced on the outside of ARVERNI PRINCESS (C Maujean). c) CUE THE REBEL (S Khumalo) raced green and was hanging in from the 200m. d) Jockey C Habib reported that ZARIYAH changed stride in the running. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) PRINCESS ARLOWE (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
