THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	JUMPING ANALIA (+P Mongqawa) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer A P Peter was advised (GT).                
b)	SANKOFA (+T Ncume) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer D N Stenger was advised (GT).                
c)	IM A BLONDIE (+C Simpson) and WAR QUEEN (+B Mlangeni) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Approaching the 150m, WILKIES (+S Mosia) was directed inwards away from the heels of SIGNORA BOMBA (+S Mkhumbuzi) and WORLD HERITAGE (+C Mabaya), which shifted out away from the crop. 
b)	Work Rider C Simpson, the rider of IM A BLONDIE, accidentally dropped his crop at the 100m.	
c)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to JUMPING ANALIA, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 26 July 2023 to 1 August 2023.  JUMPING ANALIA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer A P Peter was advised.	
d)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to SANKOFA, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 26 July 2023 to 1 August 2023.  SANKOFA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer D N Stenger was advised.
e)	WORLD HERITAGE (+C Mabaya), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer S Paterson, acting on behalf of Trainer B H Stidolph, was advised (LK).
	
WORK RIDER CHANGES:
a)	ARCTIC FLAG: Work Rider I Lukhele weighed out at 58,3kg, 1kg over the carded weight. 	
Work Rider I Lukhele was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on ARCTIC FLAG, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with Trainer J A Visser. Work Rider I Lukhele signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider race.  
Suspension date: 12 August 2023.
