THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ATLANTIC SUNSET (C Maujean) and NTOMBENHLE (*R A Venniker) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WESTOCKMARKETBORSE (K Matsunyane) over-raced in the early stages and raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. Thereafter this gelding was hanging in. b) DOCTOR'S ORDERS (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 300m. c) At the 150m I'M DEVINE (D Daniels) was switched to the inside of QUEEN'S GAMBIT (*K J Lihaba) to continue its run. d) Approaching the 50m NTOMBENHLE (*R A Venniker) was switched to the inside of I'M DEVINE (D Daniels) to continue its run. e) WOODLAND GLADE (J P v'd Merwe), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
