THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DANDOLO (*T Mayhew) jumped with its head up and was slow into stride. b) QUANDARY (A Mgudlwa) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 200m DANDOLO (*T Mayhew) and DONQUERARI (C Maujean) came together and brushed. Thereafter, DANDOLO (*T Mayhew) was briefly baulked when racing in close proximity to the heels of VALIENTE (T Godden) and was subsequently switched in to continue its run. b) In view of the performance of LEBANESE POUND (*S Hlengwa) (8.55 lengths, 25/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) DANDOLO (*T Mayhew), the joint winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
