The start of this Race was delayed due to the Starter's report below and RICCARDO being examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SAFE SPACE (*K J Lihaba) was stubborn to load. Trainer T Pretorius will be advised to re-school (SN). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WE ALL CHOMIES (C F Dicken) stumbled leaving the starting stalls. b) Shortly after the start SAFE SPACE (*K J Lihaba) was squeezed out VENGEANCE FOREVER (R Fourie) which rolled out and RICCARDO (M Yeni) which rolled in. c) BAYVIEW EXPRESS (S Khumalo) jumped a white object at the 1400m. d) RICCARDO (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D S Bosch advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) WE ALL CHOMIES raced equipped with blinkers (advised 14.08.23/23h16). b) HEAD GARDENER raced without pacifiers (advised 15.08.23/10h22). c) Jockey T Godden (HEAD GARDENER) weighed out at 54.8kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight.
