THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MAUNA LOA (C Habib), FUEL THE FRENZY (E Webber) and THE LADY LOVE (R Fourie) were stubborn loading. b) MY MISTRESS (W Agrella), MIA RAGAZZA (K Minnie) and DUMISANI (D Schwarz) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FIRE CHASER (M Yeni), which showed a tendency to hang in from the 300m, had to be straightened approaching the 200m and again leaving the 150m. b) MY MISTRESS (W Agrella) raced green. c) THE LADY LOVE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
