a)	ICE RAIN (C Orffer) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Jockey R Fourie reported that LISTENTOTHEOCEAN took an awkward stride on the turn. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
b)	ICE RAIN (C Orffer) raced green. 
c)	In the concluding stages ICE RAIN (C Orffer) was directed to the outside of STRATA (A Domeyer) to continue 	its run.
d)	Jockey A Domeyer reported that STRATA did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this filly.
e)	Trainer C Bass-Robinson was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that she presented STRATA 	in the parade ring incorrectly shod. Trainer C Bass-Robinson signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined 	R2500.00.
f)	Trainer PAW Botha was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he presented LADY OF VISION in 	the parade ring incorrectly equipped. Trainer PAW Botha signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a 	warning.
g)	Trainer GW Ennion was charged with a contravention of Rule 49.1 (read with Local Condition 5.1.2) in that he 	failed to do his scratchings by the close of declarations, which resulted in GLEE CLUB being deemed to be an 	acceptor. Trainer GW Ennion signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a warning.
h)	RED MOON RISING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was 	advised. (SC)
