THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COROMANDEL (S Khumalo) stumbled leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, IDEAL FUTURE (P Mxoli) was brushed out by AZUCAR (K A Brewer), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) At approximately the 150m, COROMANDEL (S Khumalo) was carried out marginally by CORAPI (M Yeni), which shifted out away from the crop. c) In view of the performance of NUCLEAR FORCE (R Fourie), (distance 15,00 lengths, betting 4/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) In view of the performance of WONDERWORLD (K Matsunyane), (distance 15,50 lengths, betting 8/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) CORAPI (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
