THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NORTHERN BLUE (M Yeni) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MENT TO FLY (S Moodley) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) DYNALLEY (C Zackey) over-raced in the early stages. Thereafter this gelding was difficult to assist around the turn. c) Leaving the 200m KAYGEE'S DELIGHT (C Maujean) and VIBE SA (A Mgudlwa) were briefly tightened on the outside of ANDY COOGLE (K Matsunyane) which was carried out marginally by PALACE REVOLT (G Lerena) which was hanging out from the 300m and shifted out marginally away from the crop. Jockey G Lerena appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take corrective measures to ensure that his mounts do not shift ground in races in future. d) Shortly before the finish ANDY COOGLE (K Matsunyane) was tightened and steadied between PALACE REVOLT (G Lerena) and VIBE SA (A Mgudlwa) which shifted in marginally. e) KAYGEE'S DELIGHT (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
