THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	TWICE GOLDEN (*T Mayhew) and BANZAI PIPELINE (*S Hlengwa) lost 1 length.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Shortly after the start BANZAI PIPELINE (*S Hlengwa) was tightened and steadied.
b)	At the 300m CYBER TIME (C Habib) was inconvenienced between QUANTIFIER (A Mgudlwa) and ARVERNI KIING (S Khumalo) which rolled out. 
c)	At the 150m ARVERNI KING (S Khumalo) and CAESURA (M Yeni) came together and bumped resulting in CAESURA (M Yeni) becoming unbalanced. Thereafter, at the 100m, ARVERNI KING (S Khumalo) and CAESURA (M Yeni) came together and brushed. Approaching the finish ARVERNI KING (S Khumalo) was carried out marginally by CAESURA (M Yeni), which rolled out.  A race review was called into this incident by a member of the Board which was followed by an Objection being lodged by Jockey S Khumalo, on behalf of ARVERNI KING placed second, against CAESURA (M Yeni), the winner, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. After considering the evidence presented and the video evidence of this race, the Board overruled the Objection. In arriving at this decision, the Board considered the above report and that the marginal carry approaching the finish had no bearing on the result of the race. Therefore the Objection was overruled, and the Judges' result was allowed to stand. Jockey S Khumalo's deposit was refunded.    
d)	CAESURA (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright advised (DZ).
