THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	JP TWO THOUSAND (J R Syster) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.
b)	NORDIC REBEL (*S Sosibo) was slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	JP TWO THOUSAND jumped awkwardly inwards leaving the stalls, resulting in Jockey J R Syster's shoulder making contact with the right-side front gate. 
b)	Shortly before the finish line, JP TWO THOUSAND (J R Syster) was steadied momentarily when tightened for galloping room on the inside of TOFFAS (G Lerena) and on the heels of NORDIC REBEL (*S Sosibo).
c)	Jockey C Habib reported that PINCH HIT made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
d)	BLOOMINGTON (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
