Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	AFRICA'S ROCK (D Schwarz) was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow into stride.
b)	TWICE IN CAMDEN (J Gates) jumped awkwardly and thereafter was slow into stride.


THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Leaving the stalls DAMMI jumped awkwardly, through its head back and struck Jockey M van Rensburg in 	the face. As a consequence, Jockey M van Rensburg was unbalanced, briefly lost his right-side iron and 	thereafter was unable to fully assist DAMMI in running. Jockey M van Rensburg was examined by the 	course Medical Officer on his return and passed fit to continue riding.
b)	Jockey S Khathi reported that HUMBLE TUNE took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	Jockey C Zackey reported that EUPHORIC did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
d)	In view of the performance of LORD MILORI (M Yeni) (Betting 11/2; Distance 3.10 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
e)	Trainer JP Nel was charged with a contravention of Rule 49.1 (read with Local Condition 5.1.2) in that he failed 	to do his scratchings by the close of declarations, which resulted in SAINT ANASTACIA being deemed to be 	an acceptor. Trainer JP Nel signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a warning.
f)	Trainer K Mitchley was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that she failed to vaccinate LORD 	MILORI against Equine Influenza in accordance with the program of vaccinations as published from time 	to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer K Mitchley signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000.00.
g)	RAISING QUINN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer JP Nel was 	advised. (LM)
