THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	DHONI (R Fourie) and PLUM BLOSSOM (K A Brewer) were slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Shortly after the start, ZENOBIA'S GOLD and RICHARD THE FIRST (C Habib) came together and brushed.  
b)	PLUM BLOSSOM (K A Brewer) failed to muster speed on debut and trailed the field throughout. Thereafter, Jockey K A Brewer reported that this filly changed stride continually in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 	
c)	FAST TRACK (F Herholdt) commenced to give ground to the field from the 500m.
d)	Jockey R Danielson reported that BREGARDT changed stride continually in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
e)	Jockey	G Lerena reported that JOHN WICK, which took an awkward stride at the 100m, made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
f)	Trainer J A Visser was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate PLUM BLOSSOM against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. 
Trainer J A Visser signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000.
g)	QHAWE LAMI (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

h)	FAST TRACK (F Herholdt), unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
