THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIME IN PARIS (C Zackey) and SET FOR LIFE (DB Geerthsen) bumped leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 200m A THOUSAND KISSES (G van Niekerk) and YOUREYESONLY (O Noach) brushed and were momentarily unbalanced when YOUREYESONLY (O Noach) rolled out marginally away from LADY RENEE (R Fourie). b) Approaching the 1000m TEQUILA SKY (C Orffer) got its head up while being restrained in order to get cover behind A THOUSAND KISSES (G van Niekerk). c) ROYAL LYTHAM (G Wright) raced wide on the turn and into the straight. d) TIME IN PARIS (C Zackey) raced green. e) Jockey G van Niekerk reported that A THOUSAND KISSES felt uncomfortable in its action. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) LADY RENEE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer JMT Stewart was advised.
