THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TRIPPI'S SILK (A Domeyer) was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. b) THUNDERIN TYPHOONS (R Fourie) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being slow to begin, TRIPPI'S SILK (A Domeyer) commenced to over race in the middle stages. b) THUNDERIN TYPHOONS (R Fourie) raced wide on the turn and into the straight. c) HAT'S PRIDE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
