THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SARAJEVO (R Khathi) was nervous in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. b) VERONICA MARS (G van Niekerk) and DOUBLE CHECK (M Yeni) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start SARAJEVO (R Khathi) took an awkward stride when brushed inwards by MEDLERS TART (C Maujean), which shifted in leaving the stalls. b) FLOWER OF SAIGON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
