THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	JOY AND PEACE (R Fourie) and SYMBOL OF LOVE (R Khathi) jumped awkwardly.
b)	FLUID MOTION (E Webber) and HILDELITA (S Khathi) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	The start of this race was delayed due to the thirty-minute interval between races.
b)	HILDELITA (S Khathi) threw its head up on a number of occasions while attempting to get cover in the 	early stages.
c)	Approaching the 300m JOY AND PEACE (R Fourie) was directed to the inside of KILMONIVAIG (C 	Maujean) and into clear running.
d)	Jockey K Minnie reported that RUNNINGFORTHESTARS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 	The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
e)	Jockey W Agrella reported that YOUCRACKMEUP felt uncomfortable in its action and he did not persevere 	with his riding in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.


f)	In view of the performance of FLUID MOTION (E Webber) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to 	examine this mare.
g)	Trainer GD Smith was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to have available the 	registered colours of the owner/owners of ERROLS LEGACY and HILDELITA. Trainer GD Smith signed an 	Admission of Guilt and was fined R350,00.
h)	ELLA'S DELIGHT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Mitchley 	was advised. (LM)
