THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IMPERIOUS DESTINY (R Fourie) was restless in the stalls. b) IDEAL GIFT (S Moodley) restless in the stalls, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) JAM JAM (D Daniels) and TOTO (T Godden) were bumped and squeezed out by PETIT VERDOT (A Mgudlwa) which jumped outwards sharply leaving the starting stalls. b) At the 250m, BITCOIN BABY (M Thackeray) was carried in marginally by PETIT VERDOT (A Mgudlwa) which rolled in. c) In view of the performances of BITCOIN BABY (5.30 lengths, 10/1 in the betting), and CRAZY BLUES (C Maujean) (6.10 lengths, 8/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) TIME FOR GLORY (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
