THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MIDNIGHT ADVOCATOR (+N Mpotye) and THIS TIME ROUND (+M Booi) were nervous in the stalls. b) HAPPY VIBES (+S Watson) was nervous in the stalls and jumped awkwardly. c) WESTERN JACK (+A Gwadiso) jumped awkwardly. d) TIGER IN RED (+M Naki) jumped with its head up. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Work Rider M Naki was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.10 in that whilst riding TIGER IN RED he saluted in a celebratory gesture prior to the finish line. Work Rider M Naki signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider's race (Date: 6 October 2023) b) TIGER IN RED, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L Gila was advised.
