THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DISTRICT TWELVE (N Patel) and ELECTRIC STORM (C Maujean) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the 1400m IMAGINABLE (M Yeni) was eased momentarily off the heels of ANDY COOGLE (K Matsunyane) which shifted in sharply away from the heels of CAPTAIN MARSALA (A Mgudlwa) and was then corrected. Jockey K Matsunyane appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to react sooner to correct his mounts in similar circumstances in future. b) LAST ONE STANDING (D Daniels) was hanging in, from the 300m. c) Between the 200m and 100m, CAPTAIN MARSALA (A Mgudlwa) shifted out sharply away from the crop and was thereafter directed in, away from LAST ONE STANDING (D Daniels) which rolled in. d) LAST ONE STANDING (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
