THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SEA OF DREAMS (D Ashby) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. b) REDROSEOFLANCASTER (A Domeyer) jumped outwards. c) BILLOWING CLOUDS (J Gates) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Entering the first turn at the 900m TIME FOR LOVE (O Noach) raced onto the heels of ICE RAIN (C Orffer) and had to be steadied. ANALYTIC (R Danielson) and VIX PRINCESS (JP van der Merwe), which were following, had to be directed outwards to avoid the heels of TIME FOR LOVE (O Noach) as a consequence. b) Jockey A Domeyer reported that REDROSEOFLANCASTER did not respond to his urgings in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) GLEE CLUB, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GW Ennion was advised. (WM) JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) J Gates rode BILLOWING CLOUDS (declared 07h32 on 20230907) RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER a) Nil THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) REDROSEOFLANCASTER - examined post-race. Nothing obvious detected. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. SCRATCHED: a) LADY LUCK - change of date in terms of Rule 49.19 (declared 15h28 on 20230911) b) SILENT WHISPERER - urticaria.
