THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RIDE ON (B Jacobson) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start RIDE ON (B Jacobson) and ONE TOO MANY (*S Hlengwa) came together and brushed. b) At the 250m MUSIC IS LIFE (A Mgudlwa) was switched out off the heels of PRINCEKRESH (M Yeni) to obtain a clear run. c) In view of the performances of QUESTION OF FAITH (G Lerena) (6.30 lengths, 25/2 in the betting) and ONE TOO MANY (*S Hlengwa) (10.00 lengths, 16/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Apprentices N Nastili (IRON BARK) and B Plaatjies (VALIENTE) each completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. e) IRON BARK (*N Nastili), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) advised (DZ).
