THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RED MOUNTAIN (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SIR ECTOR (S Veale) was slow, losing 3 lengths. Thereafter, shifted outwards shortly after the start. Trainer F Robinson was advised to re-school this colt. b) VIBE SA (A Mgudlwa) over-raced in the early stages. c) SIR ECTOR (S Veale) raced green. d) Approaching the 800m CHILLI CHACHA (R Khathi) and COTTON RON (C Maujean) were briefly tightened on the inside of IMPERIAL POWER (*S Hlengwa) which rolled in and was immediately corrected. e) COTTON RON (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
