THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	ROCK FALL (*K J Lihaba) and PIRATE PRINCE (M Yeni) lost 2 lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	At approximately the 900m PARIS PIKE (S Moodley) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of ROCK FALL (*K J Lihaba) which shifted out. 
Apprentice K J Lihaba signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of ROCK FALL, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PARIS PIKE (S Moodley) at approximately the 900m. Accordingly, a penalty of a suspension of not riding in races for a period of seven days was imposed. Suspension dates : 04.10.2023 - 10.10.2023 bdi.
b)	At the 200, PIRATE PRINCE (M Yeni) was carried in marginally by ARVERNI KING (R Fourie) which rolled in.
c)	Apprentice B Plaatjies (CYBER TIME) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride.
d)	ARVERNI KING (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P B Muscutt advised (HM).
