THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	JET GREEN (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride.
b)	LOREINA (J Solomons) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	After the running of Race 1, and in consultation with the Jockeys and the Track Manager, the official going was 	changed to soft.
b)	GREEDANDDESIRE (G Wrigth) over raced in the early and middle stages.
c)	CABARET (R Danielson), which raced green, changed stride awkwardly at the 450m.
d)	LOREINA (J Solomons) raced green.
e)	Jockeys L Mxothwa (KYOKA), JP van der Merwe (JET GREEN), K Matsunyane (LA PEQUENITA) and C 	Orffer (GO LIKE FLO) reported that their mounts took an awkward stride on the turn.
f)	Jockey C Zackey reported that TICKET TO VEGAS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The 	Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
g)	In view of the performance of MONTREAL, which failed to respond to Jockey G van Niekerk's urgings in the 	straight and was not persevered with in the latter stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine 	this filly.
h)	GO LIKE FLO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WA Nel was advised. 	(SC)
